Three on-act plays.

The Dowager's Dilemma - written and directed by Bob Charteris

A dowager duchess has been a widow for a year. She would like to remarry, but she is not sure who the lucky man will be. She enlists the services of the family solicitor to help in her quest, giving him a list of potential candidates for her bedchamber. Meanwhile she is having to cope with an ill-mannered butler, as well as an obnoxious new duchess who also seems intent to cause as much pain to the dowager as possible.

Pastiche

Medford, who is deputising for Sir Peter Tanford's butler, who is ill, is putting the finishing touches to a supper table, where Sir Peter is planning to entertain a young glamorous chorus girl, when Sir Peter's wife, Lady Alexander arrives unexpectedly, prepared to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. With Medford's connivance, Lady Alexander hides under the table as her husband and his guest arrive. This is only the start of fantastic plotting in which the two of them, in a variety of disguises, seek to foil Sir Peter's plan for a quietly amorous evening.

Before I Do

Plans for the perfect wedding come to a halt when bride-to-be, Clare, brings home a strange (and handsome) man from her wild night out (Dingo). After announcing her plans to cancel her marriage to Braddley, mother, Sopnia, tries to set the wedding back on track with unhelpful input from her husband, Peter,  and Clare's cousin  and bridesmaid, Ronelle. This one-act is an hilarious farce filled with family drama, costume mishaps and lots of silliness.
