Nominations now open
for SPY Committee 2010
The Stirling Players Committee
recently made a change to the way the Stirling Players
Youth group runs. SPY will now be managed by a committee
of young people aged from 16 years, who will create and
run an annual theatre program open to the youth of the
City of Stirling.

Audio Loop installed in the theatre
Thanks to the Arts Capital Fund,
which forms part of the West Australian State Government’s
Ignite package, the Stirling Players have recently had
a new audio loop installed in the theatre. The new system
consists of a loop of wire installed around the perimeter
of the auditorium that produces a magnetic field which
can be picked up on a tiny coil fit inside a hearing aid
or other special receiver. Stirling Players patrons who
wear hearing aids with an activated telecoil are now guaranteed
an improved theatre experience.

this week!
This very special Stirling
season opens to some very lucky school students this week.
Our Tuesday afternoon performance is now open to the public

Sing On Bookings Open!
As of Monday 13
October, you can get in and book your tickets for our
upcoming production, Sing On. This hilarious
show follows a community theatre as they attempt to re-create

The Stirling Players
Youth group came out of the ITA 2008 YouthFest with the
Stirling flag held high.. and also with great results!
Congratulations to Kendra, Caitlin, Gemma, Evian, Chris,
Claire and Milu for their efforts in the festival. You

Congratulations to Chloe King who won Best Actor for her
performance in Trust at DramaFest!

Stirling Players to host the ITA
YouthFest
The Stirling Players
will be hosting ITA YouthFest at Stirling Theatre on Saturday
20 September. This One Act festival will run all day from
9.00am. The SPY group will be performing their entry,
Kendra’s First Play, at about 5.00pm. Stirling
Players members and friends are more than welcome to come
along to support the festival and our young people. Tickets
will be sold at the door. Prices are $10 per session,
or $5 per play. Children $2 per play.
